JBoss Fuse expertise

IDFOR will install and set up JBoss Fuse for you or your company. JBoss Fuse is an open source integration platform, based on Apache ServiceMix. It is a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that provides standardized methodology, server, and tools in order to integrate application components.

Many information systems do not have a high quality Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The success of an SOA transformation (mediation architecture) necessarily passes through this technology. Indeed, more and more specific applications are forced to communicate and exchange data, without necessarily being designed for it. Application interaction has become central. ESB have often been perceived as heavy and time-consuming to implement, and licenses can sometimes be very expensive. But, paradoxically, they are supposed to give more agility to information systems, in an SOA vision. The implementation of an ESB is therefore essential in an information system, in order to transfer, convert, enrich data from one software to another, and this instantaneously.

Today, many easy to set-up open-source ESB can meet these needs. JBoss Fuse relies on Apache ServiceMix (lightweight, flexible and efficient ESB technology, based on Java JEE, ideal for managing flows within information systems).

JBoss Fuse

RedHat JBoss Fuse is a lightweight integration platform allowing to connect applications, services, processes and devices. The JBoss Fuse solution includes modular integration features, and an ESB, in a lightweight, flexible platform that enables rapid integration across the enterprise, on-premise, or in the cloud. It is also based on open source projects from the Apache Foundation.

JBoss Fuse connects all sources of information, software as a service (SaaS) applications, on-premises applications, peripherals, and other data sources using multiple connectors. JBoss Fuse works with JBoss Developer Studio for development of integration solutions, as well as with JBoss Operations Network for easy monitoring of deployed solutions.

“JBoss Fuse facilitates the connection and exchange of all company resources”.

JBoss Fuse enables you to quickly create and connect APIs that reduce process complexity and facilitate collaboration with your vendors, customers, and partners. Creating these is particularly possible thanks to Apache Camel’s Enterprise Integration Panel (EIP).

The different connectors provided enable existing services, on-premises applications, SaaS applications, APIs and different data sources to communicate.

The development of integration services is intuitive and faster, thanks to visual debugging. Platform’s responsiveness makes it possible to test, collaborate and identify problems more quickly.

JBoss Fuse makes it easy to transform data from multiple sources, including transformers and converters provided with Apache Camel.

Many connectors

More than 150 connectors are ready to use for systems such as Google Drive, SAP, Salesforce, Facebook, Kubernetes ….
Integration is more efficient, and deployment faster. Everything works by dragging and dropping components to the integration structure.

The platform can be hosted on a container based on OSGi, Apache Karaf or the Java EE platform. Its flexible architecture allows to deploy JBoss Fuse in various configurations to interconnect all types of solutions.

JBoss provides the ability to connect all company resources for automated, consistent and efficient solutions. It uses Apache Camel to provide connectivity to external applications, with more than 150 available Camel connectors (including Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), FTP / STP, HTTP / HTTPS and File). In addition, custom components can be created to meet specific connectivity needs.

ActiveMQ messaging

Based on Apache ActiveMQ, JBoss A-MQ is a reliable open source messaging platform that allows different services, applications and devices to communicate in real time. A-MQ supports a lot of technologies, like Java Message Service (JMS) or TCP / SSL / UDP / STOMP / MQTT / AMQP / NMS protocols. This compatibility effectively connects different brokers and customers for seamless interaction between almost any system.

Universal integration

JBoss Fuse’s modular, flexible and light architecture allows integration on different terminals: peripherals, delivery systems, points of sale, datalakes or data centers ….

JBoss makes it possible to turn an application, or a system, into easy-to-use, intuitive and compatible JAX-WS webservices with Apache CXF technology. The simplified Java development of RESTful services allows it to create APIs.
